The forerunner in real estate, Blok (Magenta Homes Oy), has appointed Susanna Huikkola as its new CEO. Huikkola has been a long-time employee of Blok and most recently served as the company's HR lead.

The business operations of Blok Enterprises Oy and Brik Kodit Oy were sold at the end of 2023 through a business transaction to Magenta Homes Oy. With the transaction, Blok's brand name, business, technology, and personnel transferred to Magenta Homes Oy.
"With the business transaction and increased resources, we can now focus on serving our customers even better and strengthening Blok's position as a forerunner in the real estate industry. This year, our focus will be especially on the Finnish market, where we have already established a solid foundation and achieved numerous successes," Huikkola summarizes Blok's future.
